This is my go-to burger stop in Cloverdale. Friendly knowledgeable staff, fountain soda, good atmosphere and great vibe. If you want a good classic burger you can't go wrong with Vera's.

The Palmer Burger was good. The food was warm, fries were hot and crispy. Only a couple beers on tap but they were served in cold glasses, always appreciated. The staff was helpful, double checked the order and checked later to see if everything was ok.

Had lunch today, small mix up with my Philly cheese steak sandwich, came with mushrooms, which we said no mushrooms at the time of our order. Next thing we get another Philly cheese steak with no mushrooms, no charge. Cook came out and asked how our food was, and apologized for the mix up! Very impressed with the customer service, and food tasted great! Will be back!

Burgers and fries are the quintessential North American meal. Vera's Burger Shack is a lower mainland based company that makes some of the best interest city. This location in Cloverdale is one of the nicer ones I have been too. The dining area is very open and there are large booths suitable for families. The burgers at Vera's are great. Homemade and not overcooked. I don't think their bun is as good as White Spot or Five guys, but they have fresh fixings and lots of choices. Don't get sticker shock at Vera's. The sides are very large, so usually at least two people can share a basket of fries or onion rings. Also look for the daily specials as a way to get a good price on one of their delicious specialty burgers! If you're a burger person, you need to try Vera's.

I've tried the Vera's Burger close to my house and that experience did not encourage me to ever go back again. So happy I gave the franchise another chance as this location just made my night with great service and a burger so delicious I wanted to order seconds but was way too full. Will definitely be back another to try another burger. Not a deal breaker, fyi for first timers who are looking for dessert that is on their menu but not available.
